This policy lists everything NotiSynk stores in your browser, with the name it is stored under and how long it lasts. The list is complete: if something is not here, NotiSynk does not set it.

2. Cookies the Service cannot work without
These are set because the Service needs them, not to learn anything about you. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with anyone.
- Sign-in cookies keep you signed in and let an expired session be renewed without asking you to sign in again. The refresh cookie is set by the server, is marked httpOnly so page scripts cannot read it, is restricted to the sign-in path, and is only sent over a secure connection.
- A session lasts until the browser closes, or up to 30 days if you choose Remember me. Signing out removes the sign-in cookies.
- The language cookie remembers whether you are using the interface in English or French. The same value is also kept in your browser's local storage.
- The consent cookie records the choice you made in the cookie banner, for 365 days, so you are not asked again and so optional scripts stay switched off until you allow them.
3. Measurement
The public website can load Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure how pages are used and how quickly they load. They are loaded only after you allow analytics in the cookie banner. If you decline, or if you have not answered yet, the scripts are never loaded at all, and rejecting later stops them without needing a page reload.
Vercel documents both of these products as operating without cookies, which is why they appear in the list above without a cookie name of their own. They are still treated as optional and still require your consent, because they send request data to a provider.
Measurement is used in aggregate to understand which pages are used and where the site is slow. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not used for advertising.
4. Advertising
NotiSynk sets no advertising or marketing cookies, runs no advertising network, and does not share information with an advertising provider. The cookie settings dialog includes a marketing control so that the choice is available and recorded, but it currently switches nothing on, because there is nothing to switch on. If that ever changes, this policy will list what was added before it is used.
5. Your choices
- Use the cookie settings link in the site footer to change your choice at any time. A change takes effect immediately.
- Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in.
- Declining analytics does not reduce the Service in any way.
